Skordi discusses his work with
Kevin Spacey in the critically acclaimed short film The
Envelope. Anthony is about to
star as Aristotle Onassis in Onassis,
which will be performing at the Stella Adler
Theatre in Hollywood, CA through the end of October. Also in
this hour: Tony Figueroa and Donna Allen remember the controversial TV series
Soap, which originally premiered 35 years ago This Week in TV History.
Second hour: Ed welcomes Tony Award-nominee actress Anita Gillette, a veteran of the Broadway stage whose many television appearances include regular and/or recurring roles on such popular shows as Quincy, The Sopranos, CSI, Law and Order: SVU, The Baxters, All That Glitters and, most recently, as Liz Lemon’s mom on 30 Rock. Anita will be performing her one-woman show, After All, at the Birdland Jazz Club in New York on Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. Also in this hour: a look at Steve Martin's early career in television. |
