Parent company Paramount announced on October 10, 2025, that its United Kingdom and Ireland channels MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s, Club MTV, and MTV Live will all stop broadcasting after December 31, 2025. The broadcaster's "flagship" channel, MTV HD, will remain on air, showing reality series such as Dating Naked UK, Teen Mom, and Geordie Shore. North American channels will remain unaffected but will also be evaluated later.
