The life and career of Raymond Burr will be one of the topics on the next edition of TV CONFIDENTIAL, premiering Monday, Sept. 6 at 9pm ET, 6pm PT on Shokus Internet Radio, with rebroadcasts Friday, Sept. 10 at 7pm ET and PT on Share-a-Vision Radio,KSAV.org, as well as throughout the week on ShokusRadio.com.
In our second hour, we’ll welcome NewYork Post television columnist Michael Seth Starr, author of Hiding in Plain Sight: The Secret Life of Raymond Burr. An excellent biography of Burr, Michael's book takes a compassionate look at the often complex life of the actor known to many of us for his iconic starring roles in the long-running television series Perry Mason and Ironside, as well as such classic films as Rear Window, Godzilla and A Place in the Sun.
In our first hour, Tony Figueroa and Donna Allen will join us as we recap last week’s Emmy Awards telecast hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Should be a fun program as always, and we certainly hope you’ll join us.
