and at various times throughout the week on WROM Radio.
Known nationally to TV audiences as
Chad, the Brillo-haired, thickly mustachioed half of Ranjit and Chad, the "hosts” of Tech Talk on the popular series of commercials for mobile phone service provider MetroPCS, Sid Veda has performed with or opened for such comics as Jack Black, Chris Rock, Russell Peters and The Upright Citizens Brigade.

We’ll ask Sid about some of his influences as a comedian, as well as his work on the NBC comedy series Outsourced, when he joins us in our first hour.

Also joining us this week will be author, speaker, filmmaker and media consultant Phil Cooke, a man who helps clients create platforms that influence culture and get their voices heard.
The key message of Phil’s latest book, JOLT: Get the Jump on a World That’s Constantly Changing, is that life today is not so much about knowing the future, but actually getting ready for it. Among other things, that means letting go of ideas that are no longer effective, no matter how hard that can be. We’ll ask Phil about that, and particularly how that idea applies in the world of television, when he joins us in our second hour.

Plus: Phil Gries with Part 2 of our tribute to TV talk show pioneer Joe Franklin; and Tony Figueroa and Donna Allen with a brand new This Week in TV History.
