First hour: Ed welcomes singer/actress Linda Lawson. After beginning her career as a nightclub performer at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas, Linda recorded an album with Henry Mancini before segueing into an acting career that included appearances in such films and TV series as Night Tide (with Dennis Hopper), Apache Rifles (with Audie Murphy), Sometimes a Great Notion (with Paul Newman and Henry Fonda), Peter Gunn, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Sea Hunt, Adventures in Paradise (as Renee, the nightclub owner), Maverick (in “Duel at Sundown,” the famous episode with Clint Eastwood), 77 Sunset Strip, M Squad, The Virginian, It Takes a Thief and, more recently, ER.

Second hour: Part 2 of our conversation with Maria Lauren and Linda Eichberg, former Dean Martin Golddiggers, and the authors of Beyond Our Wildest Dreams, a backstage pass at the world of nightclub entertainment from 1973 through 1978, one of the last great eras of show business. Maria and Linda will be appearing at the Barkley Pet Hotel and Day Spa in Westlake Village, CA on April 29 from 3pm to 6pm as part of a fundraiser to benefit Zoe's Friends Animal Rescue.
