First hour: Veteran radio personality Sam Yates pays tribute to his friend Dick Clark, whom he knew for more than three decades. Highlights include audio from an interview that Clark did on Sam's show to celebrate the 40th anniversary of American Bandstand. Also in this hour: Tony Figueroa and Donna Allen with a look at how television covered the riots that broke out in Los Angeles on April 29, 1992.

Second hour: Actor George Maharis shares some memories of his days filming the groundbreaking television series Route 66, as well as his experience working with Paul Newman and Otto Preminger in the motion picture version of Exodus. Also in this hour: a special edition of The Sounds of Lost Television featuring highlights of an interview that George Maharis did with Mike Wallace on PM East in May 1962.
