Known for his appearances on such popular shows as The Unit, Lie to Me, CSI: New York, Without a Trace, Dexter, and 24 (where he played CTU interrogator Rick Burke on Seasons 5 and 6), Martin Papazian is also the writer, director and lead actor of Least Among Saints, an inspiring story about a troubled young boy who befriends a Marine who suffers from posttraumatic stress disorder. The story of how Marty managed to make Least Among Saints is almost as amazing as the movie itself. We’ll talk about that, and more, when Marty joins us in our first hour.

Least Among Saints will open in the cities of New York, Los Angeles, and Fairfax, VA beginning Friday, Oct. 12. It will then open in Chicago, Dallas, San Diego, Tucson, Baltimore and other cities across the country beginning Friday, Oct. 19. For tickets and more information, go to www.LeastAmongSaints.com.

Also joining us this week will be author, scientist, and psychoanalyst Elide Beltram. A true Renaissance woman, Elide has taught language to dolphins in Hawaii and studied the behavior of wild orangutans in Borneo. An accomplished composer, she not only founded the Westchester Music Ensemble for Living Composers, but has collaborated with such musical greats as Stan Getz, Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein. Elide’s latest book is The Memory of Vinegar and Oil, a lyrical journey of self that weaves in themes of science and music. We’ll welcome Elide during our second hour.

Plus: a brief tribute to Andy Williams; Part 2 of our special Jack Paar edition of The Sounds of Lost Television; and a brand new edition of This Week in TV History.
