Once described as the embodiment of “natural charm, coupled with extraordinary beauty,” Sheree J. Wilson began her career as one of the top models in New York before embarking on an acting career that led to appearances in such film and television productions as Crimewave (written by the Coen Brothers, and directed by Sam Raimi), Fraternity Vacation (co-starring Tim Robbins), Velvet (produced by Aaron Spelling) and the ABC series Our Family Honor (produced by Leonard Katzman, and co-starring Ray Liotta and Eli Wallach) before landing the two roles for which she is best known, April Stevens on Dallas and Alexandra “Alex” Cahill on Walker: Texas Ranger.

Sheree recently produced, as well as stars in, Easy Rider: The Ride Back, a sequel (and prequel) to the groundbreaking cult classic that explores the lineage of Wyatt “Captain America” Williams (the character played by Peter Fonda in the original) while also remaining true to the core values and basic themes of the original 1969 film. As you can imagine, it is a daunting task for anyone to take on an iconic property such as Easy Rider. We’ll ask Sheree about that — but we’ll also ask her to share some memories of her years working with Chuck Norris on Walker, and with Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy on Dallas. Sheree J. Wilson will join us in our second hour.

And speaking of iconic prime time soap operas, Frank V. Furino will join us in our first hour. Frank’s credits as a writer and producer in television include Dallas, Flamingo Road, The Colbys, General Hospital, and Dynasty. As a staff director with ABC News and Sports, Frank worked alongside Howard Cosell, Keith Jackson, Ted Koppel and Peter Jennings. Plus, as the longtime Director of Production for Dick Clark Productions, he created, wrote and produced many nationally syndicated radio programs, as well as wrote for Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin' Eve.

Frank V. Furino is also the author of Marilyn, Madness and Me, an original play that not only depicts the final days in the life of Marilyn Monroe, but will change the way you look at the iconic film actress. For our listeners in Southern California, Marilyn, Madness and Me begins a five-week run on Thursday, Sept. 19 at The Marilyn Monroe Forum Theatre at The El Portal Theatre, 5269 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. For tickets and more information, call (866) 811-4111 or visit the Events page at http://www.elportaltheatre.com/events.html.
