Then, Phil Gries will get you ready for 2014 in our second hour with a special edition of The Sounds of Lost Television that remembers bandleader Guy Lombardo, the man whose New Year’s Eve celebrations were a tradition on radio and television for nearly five decades.

Also this week: Greg Ehrbar catches up with actors Lenny Venito and Simon Templeman, two of the stars of The Neighbors, the “science fiction sitcom” on ABC that, in many respects, is a throwback to the family-friendly comedy series that many of us remember. The Neighbors returns with a new episode on Friday, January 10. Lenny and Simon will give us an idea of what lies ahead when they join us in our first hour.
