First hour: Ed welcomes Eddie Shapiro, author of Nothing Like a Dame, a collection of exclusive interviews with twenty of the greatest leading women of Broadway, including Elaine Stritch, Carol Channing, Angela Lansbury, Bebe Neuwrith, Kristin Chenowith, Betty Buckley, Leslie Uggams and Audra McDonald. Eddie Shapiro will be appearing at the Barnes and Noble in the Grove at the Farmers Market in Los Angeles on March 26; the Assistance League of Los Angeles on March 29; and the Barnes and Noble in Naples, FL on April 9. Also in this hour: Stephen Battaglio, business editor for TV Guide, plus highlights from Ed's interview with original Dating Game host and longtime San Francisco radio personality Jim Lange from August 1999.  

Second hour: Ed welcomes actress Barbara Hale. Known to three generations of television viewers as Della Street on Perry Mason, both the original series (CBS, 1957-1966) and the popular TV-movies (NBC, 1985-1994), Barbara also enjoyed a long and successful motion picture career that saw her work with such legends as James Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Robert Young, James Arness, Rock Hudson, James Cagney and Broderick Crawford.
