I represent the first generation who, when we were born, the television was now a permanent fixture in our homes. When I was born people had breakfast with Barbara Walters, dinner with Walter Cronkite, and slept with Johnny Carson.

June Lockhart and Bill Daily: Next on TVC

June Lockhart is also celebrating her 80th year as a professional actress. She’ll be sharing a few memories with us when she joins us in our first hour.

Known to TV viewers as Roger Healey on I Dream of Jeannie and Howard Borden on The Bob Newhart Show, Bill began his career in television in Chicago directing such shows asKukla, Fran and Ollie and Garroway at Large, and later worked with the likes of Steve Allen and Mike Douglas. We’ll talk to Bill about The Bob Newhart Show and other aspects of his career when he joins us in our second hour.
