First hour: Ed welcomes James Rosin, author of Route 66: The Television Series, which Jim recently updated with new information about the classic TV series starring Martin Milner and George Maharis. Also in this hour: Tony Figueroa and Donna Allen remember “A House Divided,” the episode of Dallas that launched the “Who Shot J.R.?” phenomenon in March 1980. Second hour: A replay of our April 2012 conversation with George Maharis in which George discusses, among other things, how he approached playing Buz Murdock, as well as the real reason why he left Route 66 in the middle of the third season.
