Richard Anderson
returns this week for Part 2 of our conversation about his career in film and television. Richard is getting ready for a Big Bionic Cast Reunion next month at the MidAtlantic Nostalgia Convention (Sept. 17 thru Sept. 19 at the Hunt Valley Wyndham in Hunt Valley, MD), so we’ll certainly talk about The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. But we’ll also talk about some of his other film and TV credits, including Seconds with Rock Hudson, Forbidden Planet with Walter Pidgeon, and playing Lieutenant Steve Drumm on the final season of Perry Mason.

Richard Anderson will join us in our second hour. Co-hosting the hour will be writer and film historian Alan Doshna. Al was the collaborator on Richard Anderson: At Last… A Memoir, the story of Richard’s life and career in film and television, from his early days as a contract player with MGM to the Bionic series and beyond.

Also this week: Phil Gries will join us for Part 1 of a special tribute to Hall of Fame sportscaster Vin Scully, the legendary voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers who is also known to national TV audiences for covering NFL Football, PGA Golf and the NBC Baseball Game of the Week. Scully is celebrating his 66th year as a broadcaster this year. With that in mind, Phil has put together an audio retrospective of Scully’s career, with a particular focus on the years 1955 through 1965, as part of the Sounds of Lost Television.
