Though his roots in television go back to the ABC series Here Come the Brides, as well as many made-for-TV movies, Bo Svenson is known for his work in such feature films as Breaking Point, The Great Waldo Pepper, North Dallas Forty, Heartbreak Ridge, Kill Bill, Delta Force, Walking Tall: Part 2, Walking Tall: The Final Chapter and the original Inglorious Basterds. Also an accomplished writer, director and producer (both for film and television), on many occasions Bo was brought in as a director at the last minute to rescue troubled productions.

Bo is also an accomplished martial artist, holding black belts in karate, aikido and judo―an experience that gives him tremendous insight into the subject of his upcoming film Don’t Call Me Sir, the inspiring story of groundbreaking judo legend Rusty Kanokogi, which will also feature the acting debut of Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison. Bo Svenson will join us in our second hour. (For more information on Don’t Call Me Sir, as well as to how to help support the project, go to SupportDontCallMeSir.com.)

This week will mark not only the 300th broadcast of TV CONFIDENTIAL, but the 100th anniversary of the birth of Frank Sinatra. We will commemorate the latter occasion by playing highlights from conversations in which we’ve discussed the legacy of Ole Blue Eyes, both as a singer and as an actor, with some of our previous guests.
