The second hour of this week’s show will include Part 2 of our two-part conversation with Roy Thinnes (The Invaders, General Hospital, The X Files). We’ll ask Roy about how he came to play Jeremiah Smith on the original X Files, his thoughts on the new FOX miniseries, his interest in painting and his unique approach to portraiture.

Emmy Award-winning television writer David Pollock (All in the Family, M*A*S*H, Cheers) will make a return visit in our first hour as we remember Bob Elliott, the legendary comedian who passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

One of the great pioneers in the world of satire, Bob Elliott, along with his longtime partner, Ray Goulding, influenced three generations of comedians and comedy writers, while providing thousands of hours of entertainment for network and local radio, the Golden Age of Television, late night television and, eventually, Broadway. David Pollock is the author of Bob and Ray: Keener Than Most Persons, a comprehensive dual biography of Bob and Ray that he wrote with the cooperation of Bob Elliott and the widow of Ray Goulding.

Also this week: Actor and author James Rosin will pay tribute to the late Martin Milner. Jim not only acted with Milner in two episodes of Adam-12, but wrote an excellent history of Route 66: The Television Series.
