A veteran of fourteen Broadway productions, including Cabaret,
Guys and Dolls, Gypsy, and Neil Simon’s Chapter Two, Anita
Gillette has also been a fixture on
television for more than four decades, including regular and/or recurring
roles on such popular shows as Quincy (where she played Jack Klugman’s wife
on the final season of the show), The Sopranos, CSI, Law and Order SVU, The
Baxters, All That Glitters and Almost Grown, as well as frequent
appearances on such game shows as Match Game, What’s My Line and The
$20,000 Pyramid. These days, Anita can be seen as Liz Lemon’s mom on
30 Rock. But she has also put together a
one-woman show, After
All, featuring music and memories from her career on stage
and in television. Anita will share some memories when she joins us in our
second hour.

will be performing at the Birdland Jazz Club, 315 West 44th Street in New York on Sept. 24 and Oct.

Joining
us in our first hour will be actor/playwright Anthony
Skordi. Anthony’s film and TV credits
include episodes of The Drew Carey Show, Men of a Certain Age and
Detroit 187, as well as the critically short film The Envelope, starring
Kevin Spacey.
Anthony is about to star as Aristotle Onassis in
Onassis, a play that he co-wrote with Willard Simms that will open next
week in Hollywood. Anthony’s play is an exploration of the controversial
shipping magnate that also speaks to the human condition.

Theatre in Hollywood, CA through the end of October. For
