We’ll celebrate the life of Don Adams and the legacy of Get Smartalong with actress and television executiveStacey Adams. The daughter of Don Adams through his marriage to Dorothy Bracken, Stacey has enjoyed a long and successful career in television in her own right, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, including stints as Vice President in Charge of Dramatic Programming at CBS, and as Executive Director of Drama at Paramount Television. Among other things, Stacey acted with her father in both the Get Smart reunion movie Get Smart, Again!and Check It Out, the comedy series starring Don Adams that aired on the USA Network. We’ll ask her about that, and more, when Stacey Adams joins us in our second hour.

Also joining us in our second hour will be author and television editor Susan Kesler. In addition to writing one of the best TV reference books ever, The Wild, Wild West: The Series, Sue was one of the producers of the award-winning Get Smart Complete Series Gift Set released by Time Warner that is also one of the best DVD box sets ever put together.

Joining us in our first hour will be actress Joan Benedict Steiger. Joan’s television career spans five decades, from early appearances on such shows as The Steve Allen Show and the original Candid Camera, to General Hospital, Days of Our Lives and FOX’s Dollhouse. An accomplished stage actress, including productions of Richard III,Promises, Promises and The World is Made of Glass, Joan has also appeared in such films as The Flying Dutchman and A Month of Sundays, both of which starred her late husband, Academy Award-winning actor, Rod Steiger. Joan will share some memories about her life with Rod, as well as her own career in stage, screen and television.
