From July 4, 1976, here is some coverage of some Bicentennial events from ABC News and Harry Reasoner, beginning at 1 PM EST This psychedelic cartoon was produced by the U.S. Government with taxpayer dollars in 1976 to mark two hundred years of independence. Of course we cant forget "Fireworks" is a Schoolhouse Rock! segment, featuring a song of the same title written by Lynn Ahrens.
