After beginning her career as a nightclub performer at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas — an experience that led her to record an album with Henry Mancini — Linda Lawson embarked on an acting career that included appearances on such popular series as Peter Gunn, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Sea Hunt, Adventures in Paradise (as Renee, the nightclub owner), Maverick (in “Duel at Sundown,” the famous episode with Clint Eastwood), 77 Sunset Strip, M Squad, The Virginian, It Takes a Thief and, more recently, ER, as well as such feature motion pictures as Night Tide (with Dennis Hopper), Apache Rifles (with Audie Murphy) and Sometimes a Great Notion (with Paul Newman and Henry Fonda). We’ll ask Linda about her experiences in old Hollywood, old Las Vegas and the early days of television when she joins us in our first hour.

Then, in our second hour, we’ll play Part 2 of our conversation with the Alberici Sisters, Maria Lauren and Linda Eichberg, former members of the Dean Martin Golddiggers, and the authors of Beyond Our Wildest Dreams, a memoir of their life in show business that also takes you behind the scenes of the world of nightclub entertainment between the years 1973 through 1978 — one of the last great eras of show business, and a time that saw Maria and Linda perform in venues around the world with such legends as Jerry Vale, Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra and, of course, Dean Martin.

Maria and Linda will be appearing at the Barkley Pet Hotel and Day Spa in Westlake Village, CA on Sunday, April 29 from 3pm to 6pm as part of a fundraiser to benefit Zoe's Friends Animal Rescue. For more information, go to BeyondOurWildestDreams.com.

Also in our second hour: We’ll have an encore presentation of our conversation with Sandy Hackett and Lisa Dawn Miller, two of the stars and producers of Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show, the critically acclaimed musical tribute show that celebrates the spirit of the Rat Pack era. Plus: a brand new This Week in TV History.
