First hour: Ed welcomes author Anne Preciado Rich. Anne began her career working in radio and television before transitioning into teaching and writing. Her first novel, My 333rd Life on Planet Earth, is about past lives and draws on such influences as Robert Heinlein, Joseph Campbell, Richard Bach, Deepak Chopra and Mark Twain. Also in this hour: This Week in TV History remembers the deaths of Elvis Presley and Groucho Marx.
Second hour: Ed welcomes actor and author Barry Livingston (My Three Sons). Barry's book, The Importance of Being Ernie, is filled with great stories about his life and career before, during and after My Three Sons, including his work with such stars as Karl Malden, John Cassavetes, Paul Newman, Myrna Loy, Steve Railsback, Forest Whitaker and Adam Sandler.
