First hour: Ed welcomes Stephen Battaglio, business editor for TV Guide. Steve’s latest book, Election Night: A Television History: 1948-2012, is an enhanced e-Book that not only provides an inside look at how NBC News has covered U.S. presidential elections on television, but includes more than 90 minutes of archival video from NBC News. Also in this hour: Tony Figueroa and Donna Allen remember the premiere of Sesame Street this week in 1969.
Second hour: Ed welcomes Herbie J Pilato, author of Twitch Upon a Star, the first full-fledged, no-holds barred biography of actress Elizabeth Montgomery, featuring insight and commentary from many of Elizabeth’s family members and closest friends, including Liz Sheridan, Florence Henderson, Sally Kemp, Cliff Robertson, William Asher and Robert Foxworth, plus previously unpublished interviews with Bewitched cast members David White and Dick Sargent. Herbie J Pilato will be appearing at the Book Star Barnes and Noble in Studio City, CA on Friday, Nov. 9, and at Book Soup in West Hollywood, CA on Monday, Nov. 12.
